Chalkline
A living blackboard with a free-trial booker. Good for tutors who offer a trial lesson and want parents to book it straight away.
LAMPLIGHT · WEBSITE FOR TUTORS
Lamplight is a video design for experienced private tutors who teach several subjects from KS1 to A level. Its subject and stage picker lets a parent find the right course and price in two taps.

THE LOOK
Lamplight is dark and warm, like a desk lamp left on at the kitchen table. A video of notebooks and maths workings plays behind a large serif headline, with “made to count” in amber italics. Cream text, soft gold buttons and plenty of space give it a calm, grown-up feel that reassures parents of older children.
ON THE PAGE
Parents choose a subject and their child’s stage, then see what is covered, the lesson length and the price per session, with a link to try it free.
Online and in person side by side, with what each needs: a laptop and camera, or a parent at home during visits.
A sample lesson note showing what was covered, what went well and what to practise before next week.
Your DBS check, teaching qualification, insurance and safeguarding policy, plus space for results you can evidence.
The free trial, exam boards, cancellations and help with SEN or exam access arrangements.
Your services, prices, area, opening hours and photos replace the sample wording. Every design also has click-to-call, a WhatsApp button, your social links and up to 3 extra pages.
IS IT FOR YOU?
Lamplight suits a tutor with a few years behind them who covers maths, English and science across key stages, and whose busiest hours are after school. It works for GCSE and A level families who want to feel their money is going on something structured.
If you only teach primary children, Bright Spark is far more playful. If you run a centre with several tutors and rooms, Quadrangle fits better, and Gridline is sharper for exam-focused revision.
PRICE
The Lamplight design costs nothing to set up. Hosting is £5 a month, and extras like online booking or your own domain are optional. See every price
